Our spacious indoor area caters for all types of play such as role play areas, a home corner, dressing up, and other activities which all encourage independent learning. We positively encourage messy play and exploration, whilst outdoor play is positively encouraged in our secure garden. We regularly practice Yoga and use our specially designed children’s ‘gym equipment’ to move our bodies and learn about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

We make the most of the surrounding countryside, taking walks through the village and river bank, spotting animals and wildlife as we go!

To ensure the children reach their full potential, we plan each session around their individual needs and interests. We emphasise personal, social and emotional development along with communication and language skills as a starting point for all learning. We believe that these developmental areas are the foundation for a child acquiring independence, confidence, self-esteem and the motivation to learn.
As the children progress through the group, the other areas of learning will be covered through planned activities that take into account the children’s needs and interests. The group is flexible to allow for spontaneous learning opportunities and to give the children time to revisit activities and to practice new skills.
