ST. ARILDA'S CHURCH, OLDBURY

Our church of St Arilda serves the village of Oldbury-on-Severn and the surrounding area. The parish of Oldbury-on-Severn with Shepperdine is part of a larger benefice, centred on Thornbury. Details of our current services are advertised in our Benefice Newsletter, produced by the church office in Thornbury (contact details below). There is a small chapel at Shepperdine where services are also held on a regular basis.

We welcome children of all ages to any service.  We have a children’s corner with toys and books available.  Toilet facilities are by the gate to the church.

The church stands in a beautiful churchyard and is a popular stopping point for walkers in the area, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and the two bridges which cross the River Severn. The church is usually open every day.

The Postcode is BS35 1QG
